About Us

At Sapien Innovations Limited, our passion is making a success of innovative ideas in the market place.

Based in Cambridge, UK, the company was founded in 2008 by Steve Hales as an extension of Sapien Process Technologies. The process technologies division works with chemistry innovation in continuous chemical processing. This involves bringing new technology to market, and it was decided to expand this business model to other innovation in the Cambridge area.

Initial projects were for Green Energy Options (GEO) and Cambridge Networks (Camvine). Both companies at the time were less than twelve months old and the early projects were to grow sales in new vertical sectors.

GEO provides smart energy monitors and the Sapien project opened up a market in the Housing Association sector. Camvine provides innovative digital display technolgy run over the internet. Sapien opened markets in education, healthcare, a reseller distribution channel, manufacturing corporates and advertising networks.

Other clients of Sapien include Audio Analytic, NiTech Solutions, Phoenix Chemicals and Nuage.
